FBI Marks 100th Anniversary
pretty decent little retrospective for the anniversary. just wish they hadn't focused on just hoover for so much of it.
and if they had, they could've been a little more honest.

they could've at least mentioned this guy, right?
and here's another one of their best.

Remeber when people cared for Ron Paul? (Blog Entry by blankfist)
hmm. not sure if it's a lack of attention here, so much. this just sifted pretty quickly, for instance.

lately, the politics vibe hasn't seemed so much pro-Obama, as it's been anti-McCain.

The Back Horn - Cobalt Blue PV (Japanese music video)
like their sound. wish i knew what the lyrics are saying, but hey, that's just as possible with english, right?

if there was anything i could change, in american public schools? it'd be to add a foreign language to the curriculum sooner. starting to learn one in high school is too late, and all i remember of japanese is how to say hello and thankyou, in varying degrees of formality.

SCIENCE! Chem. Prof. Mixes Sucrose and Sulfiric Acid
"black tube of death"
reminds me of the beaker of empathic goop from Ghostbusters 2.

but it looks like those little ash 'snakes', where you light one end, and two minutes later it's an extruded black mess and the place stinks.

Muriel's Wedding - Attempting Her First Time
was just reminded of this movie a couple days ago.

a friend quoted a line from abba's Dancing Queen.

Which Sports Car Are You? (Wheels Talk Post)
the quiz said i was a Mercedes SLK. but it's wrong. dig ragtops, but too showy.
the 3 cars i grew up obsessed with were:

lamborghini countach - never wanted to actually own one, mind you. terribly impractical. so, not really 'me', but, from a design museum perspective? bitchin'.

1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe - first car i searched for yesterday, to rechannel into * wheels.
better known as, the last of the V8 interceptors... woulda' been a shame to blow it up.
sorta' the yin to lambo's yang, though, so... not really 'me'.

i'd have to go with door #3: the mustang.
